Medical Communications Specialist
Niyati Vakil serves as a Medical Communications Specialist for Syntaxx Communications where she is responsible for developing a variety of medical communications products/services for various clients and works closely and collaboratively with the management team and staff to ensure the provision of innovative, accurate, high-quality, and timely medical communications solutions.
Niyati brings a diverse background in health economics, clinical pharmacy, and federal policy to the Medical Writing Team. Prior to joining Syntaxx, she served as Health Economics Group Leader at The MITRE Corporation, where she led cross-functional teams in developing value-based payment models for novel therapies and managed projects supporting the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program. Her experience spans clinical and formulary management roles, including Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist and Senior Pharmacist positions across large healthcare systems.
Niyati holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy from the University of Florida. She holds active pharmacist licenses in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
